Ping Qiu, Artist (China/Germany)
»Mushroom Tree, Spider, Webs and Water Research«
For many years I concentrated my art work on themes like nature, environment und high technology. We are living in a time, which is dominated by technology. For some project installations I use digital techniques, f.e. in "Watercyles" and "Drums". On the other hand my land art work "Europe" in the north of Germany, represents my dream of Europe. The European map of about 10.000 square meters contains flowers and plants of every kind. Many of my outdoor installations have a poetic quality, specially the waterlilies and spiderwebs.
My questions are, what kind of modern life we need and how shall we treat the nature.
